Board Members
President - Daniel Baird
Shall preside at meetings of the Board of Directors; shall see that orders and resolutions of the board are carried out; shall sign all leases, mortgages, deeds and other written instruments and shall co-sign all checks and promissory notes, except as may be otherwise approved by the Board of Directors.  
 
Vice President - Robert De La Garza
Shall act in the place and stead of the President in the event of his absence, inability or refusal to act, and shall exercise and discharge such duties as may be required of him by the board.  Coordinates Quarterly Newsletter with board recommendations.
 
Treasurer - Sandy Ricabaugh
Shall receive and deposit in appropriate bank accounts all monies of the Association, and shall disburse such funds as directed by resolution of the Board of Directors; shall sign all checks and promissory notes of the Association; keep proper books of account; cause an annual audit of the Association books to be made by a public accountant at the completion of each fiscal year; and shall prepare an annual budget and a statement of income and expenditures to be presented to the membership at its regular annual meeting, and deliver a copy to the Members.
 
Secretary - Sam Schick
Shall record the votes and keep the minutes of all meetings and proceedings of the board and of the Members; serve notice of meetings of the board and of the Members; keep appropriate current records showing the Members of the Association together with their addresses, and shall perform other duties as required by the board.
 
Member at Large - Alan Denney
Maintain communication with community and assist the other officers in their duties. Updates website as needed and assists in organization of community events as able. 
 
Bookkeeper - Laura Bruha
Laura is responsible for all the neighborhood bookkeeping, association dues, information related to resale certificates and title transfers as well as reserving the clubhouse or pool.  She can be reached at rentals@braunoaks.org for inquires related to swimming pool and club house rentals. For inquires related to neighborhood association dues and property information, she can be reached via email at bookkeeperbraunoaks@gmail.com.
 
Facilities Manager - David Bertch
David is responsible for the upkeep of our pool, clubhouse and tennis facilities and can be reached at david.bertsch@nisd.net for inquires related to swimming pool, lifeguard employment general grounds upkeep.
 
 
The Board of Directors have the power to:
  • Enforce collection of assessments; 
  • Contract services for maintenance of common areas; 
  • Act in the name of the Association; 
  • Fix the amount of the assessment; 
  • Hold an annual meeting of the members (mandatory);
  • Maintain proper records, including but not limited to finances.

Annual Meeting - April 1 at 5 PM

The annual meeting is important.
 
Weather permitting, it will be held outside. Light refreshments and hotdogs will be served. 
 
This year’s agenda includes a visit from several community leaders, including congress representation, a candidate for mayor, and several members running for city council as well.

Annual HOA Neighborhood Meeting
Saturday, April 1st, 5 PM at 10555 Tezel Road
This is our Annual HOA Meeting.  Please come for hotdogs, drinks, and a Safety update.
Pool keys will also be distributed 30 minutes prior to the meeting.  
If you can't make it, please send in your PROXY or complete online.  
These will be mailed Mid March with your Annual HOA Invoice.
You may pay your invoice online as well.
 
 
Braun Oaks Community Yard Sale
Saturday, May 20th at Braun Oaks Subdivision
This will be an advertised community event.  
 
If you don't sell it, you can dispose of it a few weeks later during community clean up day where a garbage truck will be on site to take most items.
