President - Daniel Baird
Dan started off on the board by recommending his wife for the board initially. After agreeing to serve himself after she sent him back, he has progressed to his current role over the years by simply saying yes and being willing to serve. He has a wife, 4 kids, two of which live here full time while attending local schools, and a dog as well.
Shall preside at meetings of the Board of Directors; shall see that orders and resolutions of the board are carried out; shall sign all leases, mortgages, deeds and other written instruments and shall co-sign all checks and promissory notes, except as may be otherwise approved by the Board of Directors.
Vice President - Robert De La Garza
Robert has been in the community since 2005. He has an engineering and architectural background. He is a great resource and offers a real sense of service to our community. He loves his pets and is avid walker in the community as well.
Shall act in the place and stead of the President in the event of his absence, inability or refusal to act, and shall exercise and discharge such duties as may be required of him by the board. Coordinates Quarterly Newsletter with board recommendations.
Treasurer - Gabe Fossen
Gabe and his wife have been in Braun Oaks for over 2 years now. They just had their first baby and excited to be new parents here. This is Gabe's second year on the board.
Shall receive and deposit in appropriate bank accounts all monies of the Association, and shall disburse such funds as directed by resolution of the Board of Directors; shall sign all checks and promissory notes of the Association; keep proper books of account; cause an annual audit of the Association books to be made by a public accountant at the completion of each fiscal year; and shall prepare an annual budget and a statement of income and expenditures to be presented to the membership at its regular annual meeting, and deliver a copy to the Members.
Secretary - Yolanda Lugo
Yolanda has recently retired. She is an avid pet lover and even volunteers at the animal shelter when she has time. Her first love is her grandkids however. And she spends time with them whenever she can. This is Yolanda's first year on the board.
Shall record the votes and keep the minutes of all meetings and proceedings of the board and of the Members; serve notice of meetings of the board and of the Members; keep appropriate current records showing the Members of the Association together with their addresses, and shall perform other duties as required by the board.
Member at Large - Alan Denney
Alan is retired and has been living in the community for some time now. He is a contributor to the board and has an engineering background in the armed forces. He is an avid dog walker and loves to spend time working in his yard.
Maintain communication with community and assist the other officers in their duties. Updates website as needed and assists in organization of community events as able.
Bookkeeper - Laura Bruha
Laura has been living in Braun Oaks since her home was built here. She is very active in the community outside of her role as our HOA Bookkeeper. She has a husband, young son, and a beautiful dog as well.
Laura is responsible for all the neighborhood bookkeeping, association dues, information related to resale certificates and title transfers as well as reserving the clubhouse or pool. Facilities Manager - David Bertch
David is school coach by profession and has seen many of the local kids grow up over the years. He lives in our community and has a wife, now grown kids, and some fine guard dogs as well. David is an avid bike rider and does a lot to ensure our facilities are as well maintained as possible.
